Removing a tattoo is rarely a spontaneous decision – it is often connected to a personal story: dissatisfaction with the design, professional changes, or the desire for a fresh start. At SKINTIME, we offer professional tattoo removal that combines medical expertise, state-of-the-art laser technology and honest, realistic consultation.

At SKINTIME, we work with two of the most advanced picosecond laser systems in the world: the PicoSure® and the Cutera enlighten™.
This combination allows us to tailor each treatment individually – because tattoos vary greatly in color, pigment composition, depth, and age. By using two complementary high-end systems, we can select the most suitable technology for each specific case.
Only a few specialized clinics in Germany have access to this combination. With PicoSure® and Cutera enlighten™, we are able to treat even complex, multi-colored, or previously treated tattoos in a targeted and effective way.
Tattoo removal is a process. Fading occurs gradually over several weeks after each session. The number of treatments required depends on various factors – including colour, pigment density, skin type and individual starting conditions.
In most cases, 4–8 sessions are required. We communicate this openly, realistically and transparently from the very first consultation. The treatment is medically supervised and individually planned, ensuring that every treatment course remains clear and comprehensible.
Our aim is not to create idealised expectations, but to clearly explain what is possible – and what is not. This results in tattoo removal that is effective, gentle on the skin and medically sound.
After treatment, temporary redness, swelling or scab formation may occur. These reactions are normal and usually subside. Tattoo removal is not performed during pregnancy, in cases of acute skin inflammation or certain pre-existing medical conditions. Individual suitability is assessed by a physician in advance.
At SKINTIME, safety, quality and personalised care are our top priorities. Our decades of experience, combined with treatments performed by qualified physicians and NiSV-certified specialists, form the basis for safe and convincing results.

For tattoo removal, nanosecond lasers (Q-switched lasers) as well as modern picosecond lasers are commonly used. While nanosecond lasers operate with longer pulses, picosecond lasers deliver much shorter light pulses, allowing pigment particles to be broken down more finely and removed more efficiently by the body.
At our clinic, we work with two of the most advanced picosecond laser systems in the world: the PicoSure® laser and the Cutera enlighten™ picosecond laser. These technologies enable precise, controlled, and skin-friendly tattoo removal, even for complex, dense, or multi-colored tattoos.
By using both laser systems, we can tailor each treatment individually and select the most suitable technology for every tattoo.
With modern picosecond technology, all common tattoo colours can be treated, including multi-coloured and dark pigments. However, achievable results depend on the individual pigment composition and depth of the tattoo.
Pain perception varies from person to person and is often described as a short, intense sensation of heat or snapping. To make the treatment as comfortable as possible, we use a separate cooling system that specifically cools the skin.
If required, a numbing cream can also be applied. This combination has proven effective and allows for a well-tolerated treatment, even on sensitive skin areas.
The skin should be healthy and intact. Intense sun exposure or tanning beds should be avoided before treatment in order to minimise the risk of skin reactions.
When performed professionally and using modern laser technology, the risk is low. The treatment is individually adapted and medically supervised to minimise strong skin reactions as much as possible.
